“THE MEETING OF PASTORS AND MMS IN DECEMBER WAS VERY FRUITFUL. THE MM’s WERE ABLE TO GIVE THEIR EXPERIENCES IN THE FIELD. SOME ENCOURAGED US BY SHARING WITH US THE EXPERIENCES IN THE FIELD AND HOW GOD WORKED OUT MIRACLES FOR THEM.
LIKE GETTING STUCK IN SANDY AREAS CAUSING THEM TO SPENDS NIGHTS IN THE BUSH WHERE THERE ARE NO PEOPLE AND GOD’S PROTECTION AGAINST WILD ANIMALS WAS PROVIDED BY GOD HIMSELF.
SOME OF THE MM HAD TO DELIVER BABIES IN THE VILLAGES AND HELPING SOME WITH TRANSPORTATION OF THE MOTORBIKES TO SAVE SERIOUS SICK CASES TO THE HOSPITAL.
WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME TOGETHER OF FELLOWSHIP AND OF KNOWING EACH OTHER ESPECIALLY THOSE NEW PASTORS WITH NEW CHURCHES.
WE RESCUED A TWO DAY OLD GIRL WHO HAD BEEN THROWN IN THE BUSH AND LEFT TO DIE BUT TWO SECURITY GUYS RESCUED HER AS THEY PATROLLED IN THE NIGHT. SHE WAS THEN SEND TO OUR ORPHANAGE. SHE IS OUT OF DANGER.” – Ministry Partner, Shekinah Glory Missions, Kenya
“Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His amazing and love. We praise Him for protecting, guiding and sustaining us. I had a succesful and busy month of December preaching the Good News to villages and hills of Muhanga and Kamonyi District. I ministered in 5 villages where we have churches and Christ Groups. We baptised 49 people and dedicated 80 children to Jesus Christ over the Christmas season. Thank you so much for accelerating my outreach programs. I now reach over 5 times faster than what I used to do without a motorcycle. May the Lord continue to expand territories for WOE and the Church of Faith In Rwanda. Happy New year 2013 to all of you.” – Mobile Messenger in Rwanda
“Greetings from Goma in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)!We are grateful to God as we submit this brief update on my ministry for December 2012. We praise God for restoring temporal peace in Goma. Even though no comprehensive agreement has been reached yet between rebels and the government, the rebels have withdrawn from the town.
I reached people in 5 displaced peoples camps around the town. There is a lot of suffering and trauma left by the war; men lost their wives, wives lost husbands, mothers lost children, There were lot of abuses and many other calamities. We thank God for 225 people who accepted Christ despite the suffering and hardship. Pray for trauma healing, pray for provision of foodstuff and other basic items. Pray for those who are leaning on Christ during these difficult times.” – Mobile Messenger in Democratic Republic of Congo
“I praise for protecting my family and ministry this far. My ministry was so successful this December and I give glory to God. My main focus was to re-energize those accepted Christ this year and to win more to Christ. These events took places in the villages of Gasizi, Bihe, Kabumba, Busumba and Buringo. We praise God for 85 people who surrendered to the Lordship of Christ this month. We equally thank God for 55 people who were baptized and for 42 children dedicated to God. The motorcycle enabled me to do my ministry this December and be able to come back home every evening to be with my family. It couldn’t have happened before I got a motorcycle. My ministry is good and my family is happy. Thank you for your support and prayers. Happy New Year 2013.” – Mobile Messenger in Rwanda
“We were able to distribute sorghum seeds and malaria medicine to over 2500 people in the Nuba Mountains thanks to the help of With Open Eyes. In the past two months, we held 57 services, there were 52 salvations, and 85 people baptized. Bombings continue and there is still very little food, so many people are continuing to flee to the Yida Refugee Camp or send their children. Please pray for change in the situation, change in the government in Khartoum, and that we will be able to get out further to evangelize this year.” – Ministry Partner in the Nuba Mountains, Sudan
