The WITH OPEN EYES team is excited to launch our new First Things First project. The First Things First project is a life altering movement to provide the support of basic needs to underserved individuals and communities through local ministry partners in Eastern Africa.
WITH OPEN EYES partners with these incredible ministries who identify, train and equip indigenous leaders we call “Mobile Messengers”. Mobile Messengers are pioneers of the Gospel who are passionate about the spiritual and physical welfare of their people. We accelerate their reach by providing the transportation, training, and supplies they need to access remote, restricted, and refugee occupied areas of the world. Our desire through this new project, is to come alongside them to help not only meet the spiritual, but also physical needs of their people.
We are passionate to see lives transformed spiritually but also through equipping Mobile Messengers to provide food, water, medical supplies, orphan care, education and leadership training to impact their people with this practical expression of love.
In the past year, through your generous gifts, we delivered a shipment of over $500,000 in medical supplies to Lui Hospital, South Sudan, provided education for young men fleeing the bombings of the Nuba Mountains, and supplied funding for food and medicine in these same persecuted areas.
The basic human needs identified by Mobile Messengers are overwhelming! We’ve seen this in Lui, at Yida Refugee Camp and in the hard to reach villages throughout their areas of ministry. Together, we CAN supply them to meet the needs of their hurting communities!
Supplying ministries have donated over $750,000 worth of products to fill three (3) 40′ containers. We just need to ship them there! We need to raise $60,000 for door-to-door delivery to our partners in Africa!
Through the access of the Mobile Messengers, and their immediate delivery of these basic needs, YOU can join the WITH OPEN EYES’ First Things First project by becoming a catalyst in accelerating this process of community recovery and transformation. This call to action will foster lasting results for generations!
