Mobile Messenger Training Update

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God will stand forever. ~ Isaiah 40:8

For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.  ~ Hebrews 4:12

The Bible is God’s written word to us. There is nothing in this world of more significance than the Word of God which reveals to us God Himself and His Son, Jesus Christ. We at With Open Eyes believe that a great part of our purpose is to equip our Mobile Messengers with the knowledge of God’s Word. The indigenous pastors we identify and equip as Mobile Messengers are passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Our partners follow them into the ministry field, walk with them from place to place, and hear and see preaching and teaching. We know they are called and they are passionate. But most have had very little Bible training. Almost none have had the opportunity to attend formal Bible school. Our Bible Center Training for Pastors (BTCP) brings together groups of our Mobile Messengers for one week each month for training. Over the course of thirteen months these godly leaders add to their incredible passion and diligence a solid foundation of the knowledge of the Scriptures.

This week, 33 Mobile Messengers have begun the journey through BTCP in Rwanda. We know by experience that this training will bear fruit in their lives and ministries. Your continued prayers and financial support makes possible the work of training and equipping men and women like these. Please consider a generous gift to With Open Eyes today to help us train and equip more indigenous pastors to be Mobile Messengers and to reach the unreached for Christ.
