PRAY 4 NUBA – 31 Days of Prayer

“I thank God that he has given me this opportunity to check in and I am very glad and encourage with the word of God and of your pray team which are praying every Monday for us we appraised what you are doing please continue to pray for us and I believe through your and our prayer God will change situation in Sudan.”

May 1  God’s love and power to be seen through our Mobile Messengers. No, O people, the Lord has already told you what is good, and this is what he requires: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

May 2  Bombings to cease. Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thes. 5:16-18

May 3  Provision of food needed daily. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now Glory be to God our Father forever and ever. Amen. Phil 4:19-20

May 4  The wives of our Mobile Messengers. Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6:18

May 5  The Orphans. For I know the plans I have for you ays the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29: 11

May 6  The Widows. Jesus looked at them intently and said “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” Mark 10:27

May 7  True peace between Sudan and South Sudan. Then Jesus told them, “I assure you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to these mountains, ‘May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,’ and it will happen. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Matthew 21:21-22

May 8  Our Mobile Messengers. I have heard all about you, Lord, and I am filled with awe by the amazing things you have done. In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us, as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us. Habakkuk 3:2

May 9  The elderly. But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. Psalm 13:5

May 10 The provision of mosquito nets. Be silent and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

May 11 The men to be spiritual leaders of their families & communities. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

May 12 The children, future leaders of their communities. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those who are perishing. Proverbs 31:8

May 13 Anti-biotics and anti-malarial medicine. You will keep in perfect peace all who trust to you, whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3

May 14 Our Mobile Messengers. And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it… Matthew 24:14

May 15 Reunite families separated due to the fighting. “All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end. But while I am still here in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5

May 16 The injured and those living with physical disabilities. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, So that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10

May 17 Roads and airstrips continue to be open for distribution opportunities. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. Ephesians 5:16

May 18 Provision of blankets and sheets. May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you. O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

May 19 The people fleeing to refugee camps. The righteous face many troubles, but the Lord rescues them from each and every one. Psalm 34:19

May 20 Provision of clean water. When the King smiles, there is life; his favor refreshes like a gentle rain. Proverbs 16:15

May 21 The sick. Since I know it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor.12:10

May 22 First Aid supplies. Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

May 23 The leaders of Sudan and South Sudan. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. James 5:16

May 24 Seeds to plant for future food harvest. So don’t get tired of doing what is good. Don’t get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Galatians 6:9

May 25 The unreached will receive the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. We are in this fight together. Phil. 1:29-30a

May 26 The grieving and distress of the people. Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5

May 27 The soldiers fighting on both sides. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:19

May 28 All the people of the Nuba Mountains and surrounding communities. Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give your rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

May 29 The relief workers and organizations working to bring help and hope. I am overcome with joy because of your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have handed me over to my enemy but have set me in a safe place. Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am in distress. My sight is blurred because of my tears. Psalm 31:7-9

May 30 Our Mobile Messengers’ children. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts his praises! My body rests in safety. Psalm 16:9

May 31 Our Mobile Messengers. For you have been called to live in freedom – not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13
