Greetings from Kigali!
We had a powerful time of worship today in Kigali! The team worshipped with the Church of Faith Rwanda congregation – Sunday school started at 8:30am and the excitement brought children from the streets to see what was going on. The team sang songs with puppets – this was there first time ever seeing a puppet show and both young and old were captivated! They also had craft time and a time in the WORD. The Sunday School hour passed quickly and lots of joy and smiles and hugs were shared!!
Morning Worship was an amazing time with sharing from the team and the local congregation. Mobile Messenger Edouard, who is awaiting transportation lead us in praise and worship. He has such a powerful anointing and is so full of passion to praise the Lord! There was lots of dancing, singing and celebrating Jesus! The Central team shared testimonies of how God had changed their lives and offered HOPE that He could change their’s too. The message was delivered by Roger from the team and he shared how nothing is too hard for God.
Pastor Ananie, With Open Eyes Ministry Partner, stated that he and the congregation had been so very blessed by the team but the team feels that they have been more blessed by this opportunity to serve in Rwanda with the Mobile Messengers!
Later in the evening the team had opportunity to hear from the heart of Pastor Ananie and his wife Immaculee about their God-given vision for reaching Rwanda. Afterward we had special prayer for them, their family and their ministry.
The team held their devotions in the Dining Room and as we were saying goodnight and ending our evening, God gave the team a special opportunity to pray for the lady who runs the hotel. She was very eager to have the team gather and lay hands on her asking God to bless and draw her closer to Him. The love of God was evident in the room and you could see that the Father’s love touched her heart through this team.
It was a great day full of fun, praise, celebration, love and faith and too many hugs to count!!
Tomorrow we travel to the Bugesera District to minister. Please continue to keep the team in your prayers!”
