The James 27 Project

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress… James 1:27

The James 27 Project actually isn’t a project at all, simply put, it’s hope…one step at a time.

Our heart behind The James 27 Project goes back to our co-founder James Harrison, who put James 1:27 into action, to care for the least of these…one person, one village at a time, to see true community transformation.

When James went to be with the Lord in 2010, it was evident that the work the Lord started through him was going to be carried on to completion. That wasn’t it for South Sudan, that wasn’t it for Kenya, that’s just where it started.

As we’ve followed the Mobile Messengers into new places that are off the map, we’ve come across situations that can’t be ignored, and as the Lord continues this work to completion…we want to do it with Him. Welcome to The James 27 Project.

The message of hope has been delivered to some of the most remote parts of the world through the Mobile Messengers. When they arrive in these villages their hearts are exploding with joy to bring spiritual hope for the lost and broken, but their hearts are equally broken for the lack of tangible hope amongst these people. They have no food, they have no jobs, they have no health care, they have no education, there are orphans, there are widows, there is no clean water…and the list goes on. These people are literally dying and in desperate need of hope and we’ve found ourselves to be in a position to help. After waiting for this hope to show up, it suddenly was apparent that maybe the Lord was going to use us and others to be that hope. Maybe it wouldn’t magically appear, but rather the Lord was going to use His sons and daughters to bring His hope.

Starting with the church, the goal is to accelerate the reach of the local church by creating a self-sustaining culture through a farming project and a sewing ministry for the women.

Will you link arms and carry this work to completion?
